Today we welcome Cora, the latest addition to the Amazing Team! She brings a powerful mix of creativity, strategic vision, visual design experience, and a strong desire to work on impactful technology projects. We talked to her about her arrival at IAGT, her approach to design, her key tools (spoiler: yes, Figma is on the list), and her vision of the future with AI at the forefront. We also discovered her love of Muay Thai, cinema, and science fiction. Keep reading to get to know her!

What attracted you most to IAGT to embark on this new adventure as a UX/UI Designer?

I was really attracted to the fact that it was a local company. Sometimes it seems that, in order to take on new challenges, you have to move to Madrid or Barcelona, as if there weren’t any interesting opportunities in Andalusia. Being able to stay in my homeland and also work in a field that motivates me is a privilege.

I was also very interested in the projects developed by IAGT, and I was eager to work in SaaS environments.

What superpowers do you bring to the team that you think will make a difference?

I believe that my background in advertising, branding, and visual design can contribute a lot, because I am deeply convinced that design is not just about aesthetics, but also a strategic tool for achieving objectives.

As a UX/UI designer, I apply the same approach. I understand design as a process that must be involved from the outset, adding value where it is needed and aligning with business decisions. I like to work with a systemic mindset, where I try to connect everything.

What are your essential tools?

For me, the essential thing is to ask good questions. I love a team conversation that makes you rack your brains a little, where, for example, you discuss possible solutions to a problem. That’s where I think the magic begins.

Otherwise, if I spend a day immersed in Figma, I’m happy, and for my personal organization, I can’t live without Notion.

The inevitable question. What role does AI play in your area of expertise, how does it help UX/UI projects, and how do you think it will evolve?

I am very interested in the topic of AI, both from an ethical and technological point of view.

With the introduction of Sam & Jony introduce io, OpenAI has opened up a very interesting can of worms: devices created natively for AI, possibly without screens and very different from what we know today.

That raises a lot of questions. How will we interact with these devices? How do you design when there is no visual interface? I hope to be part of this new stage in design.

At IAGT, we love teamwork as much as we love our morning coffee. What is your style when it comes to collaborating on projects? And are you more of a coffee or tea person during your design mornings?

My way of collaborating is simple, really: camaraderie and kindness always come first. I can’t imagine working any other way.

And yes, I’m team coffee, although I won’t say no to a good matcha.

And to get to know you a little better outside of the computer (or not), tell us about your hobbies: love of animals, music… any unusual hobbies or secret passions you can share with us?

I love movies, which have always been a part of my life and were, in fact, what led me to study design (long story short). I also love reading, especially science fiction and fantasy; I love exploring other worlds.

And the sport, one of my favorites and the one I have devoted the most time to, is Muay Thai.

    💚 Welcome aboard, Cora!
